button head band

Ok so I have searched high and low to find the pattern for those earwarmer headbands with the button in the back. Unfortunatly I did not find one that really worked for me. I did however create a pattern that turned out pretty well. I think a few tune-ups and it will look great.

Your headband will be shaped in a long diamond shape

 Finishing Touches
The edge of your headband may look a little rough from the increases and decreases.

Single Crochet all the way around the outside of your head band.
I usually do about 3 times around but it depends on how thick you want your head band.
when your finished the edges should look something like this.

Button hole

To make button hole while  making your rounds around the edge of your headband, once you reach the narrow end of the headband, chain 5 and SC into the last ST. Turn
chain 2, DC in each stitch. Tie off and add your button!
your done!!

I have some Flower and Bow patterns coming to add the flower imbelishment to your headband.
here is a link for flower patterns.
